Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 Launch Deals
Tomorrow is the launch day of the latest in the Modern Warfare series of games. The most interesting thing regarding this is that this is going to be the first Modern Warfare game since almost everyone left Infinity Ward due to a disagreement with Activision. Of course most of the average gamers will not even know of the restructuring of the development team. Instead they are looking forward to the new game is such an enjoyed series. The game is coming to almost every console in current circulation however most of the offers are only on the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 version.
Due to the massive popularity of the series every supermarket in the UK wants to get your money. Most of them are also looking to have midnight openings to celebrate the launch.
So today I picked up a national news paper and had to look to see what ads have been placed regarding the deals on Modern Warfare 3.
Originally there were reports that Asda would be selling Modern Warfare 3 for £26 or £27. However looking in the paper today I found the advert for which shows that they don’t have any offers on the game. So if you go to there to pick up the game you will be paying £38.97
Morrison’s will only have a deal on the Xbox 360 version of the game. You can pick up the game for £25 when you buy it with the Modern Warfare 12+2 months Xbox Live subscription card for £34.99. Also they won’t be open at midnight.
Sainsbury’s are doing a midnight launch and an offer. Modern Warfare 3 on either Xbox 360 or PlayStation 3 for £28.99 as long as you spend £30 or more in store with the game.
Tesco will also do a midnight launch are offering Modern Warfare 3 for £25 on PlayStation 3 or Xbox 360 if you also buy one of the following. 2100 Xbox points for £16.99, 4200 Xbox points for £35, 12+2 months Xbox Live £36, £25 PSN card or £35 PSN card.
I personally plan to go to my local Tesco for midnight and pick up the Xbox version with 2100 points.
